My picture vs Artist picture

 Today in cybersmart we worked on the first summer learning journey activity. I chose the roses because they looked pretty, and I wanted to wero to myself. It was created by a very famous artist called Vincent Van Gough. 

What is the purpose of a blog post?

We have been learning how to do a great blog post. I have been learning to do a good blog post. Blog posts are to: teach others, Get feedback and to share what we have learnt.

I really liked doing this because I could write because writing is my favorite subject at school. I had to learn how to do a blog post first to get my work completed.

How do you make your blog post?

After you are done your work you put it into the cyber smart folder.

I created a photo of people teaching other people how to do a blog post.

My Book Club.

 

Hello this week we have been doing book clubs.

First we chose a book that looks interesting. we work with people who chose the same book Then in your ropu. you figure out how many pages we read each day. While we are reading each section we fill in our discussion tickets with figurative language, vocabulary, favorite paragraph And favorite part.

The book that i'm reading is called rising tide. it is A book about A boy called Ari that saves his Koro.

Finally we share the information from our tickets. Every one in the group has A job to do each day. Either editor, translator illustrator and publicist. We then talk about our discussion seed before filling in our booklet.

Minecraft Mystery Box Monday - Build a Theme Park ride in 220 minutes

I had to be creative and use lots of colours.  Our ride is really cool and me and Jasmine had lots of fun.

We were really scared at first but when we found out it was a theme park we were getting excited.

When we started we didn't really knew what we were going to do for a theme park.

But then we planed  it we were getting on with a good start.

When we were half way done we were getting really excited.

We planed that Jasmine would work on the  ride and I would work on the decoration.

When me and Jasmine were about almost done I was finished all of the decoration.

For some decoration I did both our names in rainbow and I spelled Rawhiti.

Since I was done my decorations i helped Jasmine with the ride.

When we were done me and Jasmine tryed out the ride it was really fun.

It was heaps of fun to build with my best friend Jasmine and me and Jasmine really enjoyed it.

Te wiki o te reo maori

 Taku mahi I tenei wiki.

Tuatahi pou when i was doing it I really learnt how to do lots of Maori designs and really got good at doing pou. I spoke te reo Maori when I was doing it.

I took my big topic from a watermelon to slice idea then a seed.

I enjoyed writing my work this week because it was easy. That is one thing and I found keeping up with all of my mahi challenging

Takurua - Winter

Today I learnt about Te Maramataka. I knew that it had something to do with the word moon - marama. After I read the text I learnt that people get really cold in the coldest month Hongongoi. I also learnt  tha inanga are caught during the month of Hereturikoka. Here is a copy of my reading.

For the past 2 weeks the tuakana have been working on our taha tinana. I have completed 2 firness tasks the beep test and wall sit i achieved a level level 5 1 during my first attemptand. a level 4 1 on my first second, my goal for this week is to get a level 20 1 for the wall sit my record is 6 4
